Tatiana Amor

Director, Mexico Strategy

Tatiana joined The Christensen Fund in 2017. She brings two decades of experience working alongside Indigenous communities in Latin America with an expertise in Indigenous rights advocacy, Indigenous territories protection strategies and supporting Indigenous autonomies. Since joining The Christensen Fund, Tatiana works with our partners throughout Mexico, from Sierra Tarahumara to the Maya Península, in strengthening holistic approaches that contribute to building self-determination processes and Buen Vivir for Indigenous Peoples in Mexico. Tatiana received her Bachelor’s Degree in Latin American Literature from Universidad Iberoamericana and holds a PhD Social Anthropology Degree at the National Anthropology and History School in Mexico. She is now specializing in human rights at the Latin American Faculty of Social Sciences with a focus on Indigenous territories and land rights. Tatiana enjoys family, dogs and books.
