Global

The Christensen Fund’s Global Program is its longest-running program. Our global portfolio is composed of partners who are advancing the rights of Indigenous Peoples at various policy-making tables, Indigenous-led funds, and regional alliances with deep local roots and experience.

Some of the key issues our partners focus on include:

  • Addressing threats to lands and territories, communities, and leaders
  • Advocating for free, prior, and informed consent
  • Supporting Indigenous organizations and networks in building their institutional infrastructure
  • Strengthening Indigenous-led fund mechanisms and other forms of self governance
