To develop community strategies around adaptation to climate change effects through biodiversity monitoring and community consultation in the Tarahumara’s Urique–Batopilas Biological Corridor. Grant amount – $100,000   Term – 24 months

Diné Citizens Against Ruining our Environment

Underwriting to build a community educational campaign for renewable energy as an alternative to coal fired power for the Navajo Nation and to litigate for mitigation and remediation from the coal carbon waste at Navajo Mine.  Grant amount – $30,000  Term – 12 months

Fundacion Tarahumara Jose A Llaguno A B P

Co-funding with Mexican private and public agencies to continue a comprehensive higher education program to enable Warijio, Pina, Pima, and Rarámuri students to access the Autonomous University of Chihuahua and other state institutions to train a generation of Indigenous professionals.  Grant amount – $200,000  Term – 24 months

Native Movement

Support helps advance the Navajo Green Jobs Campaign through outreach and education and two pilot projects to model green economy options.  Grant amount – $70,000  Term – 12 months
