Culture, Science and Snow Leopards

This video documents an historic five-day gathering in Kyrgyzstan of Western scientists and Indigenous cultural practitioners, working together to merge Western and Indigenous approaches to scientific knowledge. Facilitated by the Snow Leopard Conservancy and the Worldwide Indigenous Science Network, with funding from The Christensen Fund, a pathway was created for cultural practitioners to have a voice in the global planning for snow leopard conservation.
